Details Itinerary

our safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, heading southwest through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley. Along the way, you can stop briefly at the viewpoint to take in sweeping views of the valley floor. You’ll continue on to the Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge or camp. After a short rest, embark on your first afternoon game drive, where you’ll get a taste of the Mara’s abundant wildlife—lions, elephants, antelope, and more. As the sun sets over the savannah, return to your accommodation for dinner and a restful evening.
Spend the entire day exploring the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. After breakfast, set out with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive, giving you the best chance to spot the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—as well as cheetahs, giraffes, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebras. Depending on the season, you might even witness parts of the Great Migration. Optional activities include a visit to a traditional Maasai village to learn about their culture and lifestyle. Return to your lodge in the late afternoon to relax and enjoy dinner under the stars.
After an early breakfast, you’ll depart the Mara and journey northeast toward Lake Nakuru or Naivasha. The drive takes you back through the Rift Valley’s scenic terrain, and you’ll stop for lunch along the way or upon arrival at your lodge. If you’re heading to Nakuru, enjoy an afternoon game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park, known for its flamingos, white rhinos, and Rothschild’s giraffes. If your destination is Naivasha instead, you can take a relaxing boat ride on Lake Naivasha or visit Crescent Island for a walking safari among zebras and giraffes. Settle into your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.
This day is dedicated to enjoying the natural attractions around your location. In Naivasha, you might explore Hell’s Gate National Park, where you can hike or cycle among dramatic cliffs and geothermal steam vents. You can also choose to visit the Olkaria Geothermal Spa for a relaxing soak in natural hot water. If you stayed in Nakuru, enjoy a morning game drive or take it easy at your lodge. The pace is more relaxed today, allowing for some downtime amidst Kenya’s stunning landscapes. Dinner and overnight will be at your lodge or camp.
After breakfast, you’ll check out and begin your journey back to Nairobi, enjoying the last glimpses of Kenya’s beautiful countryside. Depending on traffic and your departure time, you’ll arrive in Nairobi by early or mid-afternoon. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of an unforgettable five-day safari experience.
